About Me

With over 15 years of experience - I have had the great joy of photographing 514 weddings and 1206 portrait sessions (as of end of 2025). I have been so graciously awarded 27 awards for my work. Grateful is an understatement! It is beyond an honor to be a part of and capture such special moments – from weddings to family vacations, the excitement of proposals, engagements, senior year of high school, and expecting a baby – the delightful moments and milestones that make life.

I have such great appreciation for my work-family! I am incredibly grateful to do what I love, in the beautiful atmosphere of the Outer Banks.

My style for weddings is blend of candid photojournalism and timeless portraiture. I have a relaxed and unobtrusive approach that captures moments as they happen naturally, while still giving guidance when needed. My goal is to help you look and feel your best in front of the camera. We will also have time set aside for your guided portraits and group photos with family & friends. I strive for your images to look bright and clean, with cheerful and romantic vibes.

My style for family & portrait sessions is laid back and fun. I like to get a combination of posed portraits and guided candids. I spend part of our time composing posed group shots, both standing and sitting. Then spend the rest of our time playing at the waters edge for fun candid moments, creating lifelong memories with your favorite people.
